Compound Sentences: More than one subject or verb
Compound Sentences may combine more than one action in one sentence. Or more than one person or thing does the action in one sentence.
The subject does more than one action, or more than one actor does the action.

Compound Sentences:
Sometimes a sentence has more than one verb or more than one subject.

The following sentences are compound sentences:
The ball went over his head and broke Mrs. Smith's stained glass window.
Jim and John played baseball.
